At Optimal Health Medicine, we are committed to providing timely, high-quality care. To ensure that all our patients have access to the care they need, we ask for your help in keeping scheduled appointments or giving adequate notice if you cannot attend.
Scheduling Appointments
Please call our office in advance to schedule routine visits. If you need a follow-up appointment, we encourage you to schedule it before leaving the office to ensure availability.
We make every effort to stay on time. However, medical emergencies and unexpected delays can occur. If we are significantly behind schedule, we will do our best to notify you as soon as possible. We also reserve a limited number of same-day appointments for established patients with urgent needs.
Arriving on Time
Please arrive a few minutes early for your appointment. If you are going to be late, call us as soon as possible. Depending on how late you arrive, we may need to reschedule your appointment.
Cancellations and Missed Appointments
We understand that unexpected things happen. However, when patients miss appointments or cancel at the last minute, it prevents us from offering that time to others who may need care.
To help us serve all our patients better, the following fees apply:
- $25 fee for cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice or for no-shows for established patients.
- $50 fee for cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice or for no-shows on new patient visits.
These fees are not covered by insurance and will be billed directly to you. We do not enjoy charging these fees—but repeated missed appointments disrupt care for everyone.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a fee.
